But those who haven’t…. what you waiting for??? Still a season to go catch up with it…
Trust me this series dealing with mass destruction of the humans by their enemies the robotic
cylons may seem fictional and not too real but somehow to me it seems both realistic and
contemporary. Though with all these starships, robotic intervention , with earth as being alien,
I know it becomes difficult to make a connection.
Well Battlestar gallactica , is about a hard surviving military starship , with a few survivals under the
commandment of commander William Adama, whose main aim is nothing but to search for
a lost tribe, who inhabit the planet earth, and make his handful civilians survive.
But will their robotic enemies, the Cylons, let them complete their search , as their main aim
is nothing but to destroy the race.
But doesn’t it arouses your curiosity about the world outside earth , what if we are
actually successful in creating a robotic world and they destroy the human race.
Even more seriously in its fictional world the producer Moore with Laresn have raised
many serious contemporary issues like war on terrorism and as its been said its “ TV’s most
vivid depiction of the post-9/11 world and what happens to society at war.”
Call it a sci-fi, a religious debate, a political war, a psychological thriller or plain fun and it
will hold you from every angle and once you watch it you are into it.
